Life sometimes does not lead us to our destination by the shortest route or the easiest, being an artist and studying art, like my friend "donut." It was not to invoke a secure future, so the art was a hobby without the possibility of perfect, due to circumstances and vicissitudes of a life full of controversy, reassignments and homes and situations in which such dedication was not possible.

But he never gave up hope and the pleasure of playing even if only occasionally.

One day talking to my colleague the frustration of a life, encouraged me to pick up the brushes, when resolved certain stressful situations at the time suffered, and serenity that I felt with my fifty years with someone who encouraged me and supported me, I decided to do so.

My big dream was to paint in oils, but even my partner encouraged me to do this, she suffered from the disease could be an impediment in some cases, the space need and the strong odors given off by solvents ... so I decided to start with watercolor.

I was wrong, but spent much time studying the techniques, teachers, great painters and many practices and the role that gave way to images they told me it could be true that I was good at painting.

In late 2007, when my partner died, and the solitude of my house overwhelms me, I try to fill it with an easel and oil painting supplies ... it was my great dream ... but she no longer wanted me, I began to paint my first oil (mountain scenery), but I left halfway, I did not want to repaint.

In mid 2008, when my current partner encourages me to finish the work, to continue painting, believed in me and makes me batteries ... without hesitation, I restarted my studies in painting. He devoured books and notes on painting techniques, and I decided to do a good job with my learning, I wanted to be a good painter.

Each canvas began, was a challenge for me, now a portrait, now a landscape, and later a marina, a horse, Medina, cities ..., nothing stopped me in my aspirations ... the first time, took more or less, but always ended up the canvas with the image that initially attracted me.

I knew that I considered appropriate time to devote to learning, during which, I consider myself as a learner, it would be until July 2012, which happened in my military occupation of the reserve. From this date, I PAINTER believe, and my full-time will make me more strongly integrated into the world of art, the study of other techniques and other artists.

For the beginning of this period that I consider art professional, I prepare my first competitions and exhibitions, my website, etc.

It is difficult to group an appropriate number of works for an exhibition, since the novelty among the family and friends, makes the finished paintings hanging in their homes and not in the shop, but I guess that is part of this gear has not just beginning to work. I still have some time to make me some more.
